Email is the operative channel and reaches the operator directly; there is no call centre and no contact form, by design. Correspondence about carwashindex also reaches the operator at hello@drivenerve.com, the mailbox published across the drivenerve tools. Messages in English or Lithuanian are answered.
What this service is, and is not
- carwashindex publishes a free wash-or-wait forecast tool that runs in your browser: it scores your local weather forecast from 0 to 100 and says whether washing your car today is worth it, with the best wash windows ahead. Every verdict is derived from a third-party weather forecast and is informational only. No contract for goods or services is concluded through this site.
- carwashindex is not a car wash, a detailing service, a weather service or a meteorological authority, and nothing here is professional, vehicle-care, meteorological or legal advice. Local water-use rules are not reflected in the score. Publishing this tool is not subject to any authorisation or licensing scheme, and no supervisory authority oversees it.
- There are no accounts, no payments, no newsletter and no advertising network. Nothing is purchasable on this site.
- Labelled partner links appear in the after-the-wash guide and, on US locations only, under a finished WASH verdict. They never alter the score, the verdict or the wash windows. Which partners, where each appears and how they pay is set out in the privacy policy and the terms of use.
Responsibility for content
The operator named above is responsible for the content of this site. Forecast data comes from Open-Meteo; every penalty the index applies is published in the method section, and the same table drives the score. City briefs describe typical wash climate, not today's weather; the live verdict on each page does that. Corrections are published rather than argued with: write to either address above and the fix ships with a note saying what changed.
Disputes and applicable law
- Since no consumer contracts are concluded through this site, the EU rules attaching to online sales and service contracts do not apply to your use of it. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and is deliberately not linked anywhere on this site.
- Use of this site is governed by the terms of use. The operator is established in the Republic of Lithuania and this notice is provided under Lithuanian law implementing Directive 2000/31/EC.
- Data protection questions and rights are handled as described in the privacy policy, which names the controller and your right to complain to the Lithuanian supervisory authority.
